December 12, 2004 - Strategic Events is very proud to have been awarded "The Best Corporate Meeting With Budget Over $250,000" from Successful Meetings Magazine for our production of IBM's 2003 Global Golden Circle.

Successful Meetings Magazine describes the award as "...the difference between good and excellent is like the gap between silver and platinum. There's plenty of good out there, but excellent, well, that's a much rarer commodity. That was one of the reasons Successful Meetings decided to create the Super Six Awards of Excellence...Uncovering outstanding work in the meeting and event planning industry was one reason for creating the award, but the other, more important reason was to encourage future excellence by shining a spotlight on work that made the jump from good to great."

Considered one of the most respected events in the industry, the Global Golden Circle played host to approximately 1,600 attendees over the three waves of the event.

Strategic Events dazzled the audience with a spectacular show, including a cast of 85 dancers, musicians, and actors. Our speakers included the Cuban Jazz great Arturo Sandoval, and our evening banquets featured incredible orchestral performances from Charlotte Church and dancing to Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.

Strategic Events has been privileged to be IBM's production company for the 2004 and 2005 Global Golden Circles as well.
