July 6, 2002 - Strategic Events is proud to have been awarded
a 2002 Bronze Telly for its Conference Opener at IBM's 2001 PartnerWorld
Conference in the Event Production Film Category.
PartnerWorld
is IBM’s largest and most strategically important annual conference,
with an audience of approximately 7,000 attendees, most of them
CEO/CFO/CIO level individuals from IBM’s top Business Partner
firms.
The
strategic goals of the Opener, built around a chosen Ogilvy &
Mather theme, were twofold: 1) to raise awareness among the Business
Partners of "nontraditional" methods of increasing marketshare
to previously untargeted industries and consumers, and 2) to serve
as the official launch of IBM's redesigned online resource for
Business Partners - www.ibm.com/partnerworld.
The
Opener contains original music & film and extensive custom
computer animation. In addition, the Opener was supported by theatrical
lighting and Pani slides of Ogilvy & Mather's print advertisements
which were projected on a 25 foot high x 120 foot wide surface.
